National SAFE Day, observed annually on June 4th, is a day dedicated to promoting safe gun storage and raising awareness about gun safety, particularly for children. It was established by the Brooklynn Mae Mohler Foundation (BMMF) in response to the tragic death of Brooklynn Mae Mohler, who was fatally shot while visiting a friend's home.

As we observe this day, we want to emphasize the vital importance of securely storing fi****ms to prevent accidental injuries and fatalities, especially among children who may not fully grasp the dangers associated with fi****ms and could inadvertently cause harm to themselves or others. We want to encourage all firearm owners to take proactive measures in securing their guns, such as utilizing gun safes, lockboxes, or trigger locks.
