God’s love changes everything. God’s love is unlike anything the world has to offer. He gives it freely, unconditionally, and infinitely with no take-backs. Receiving this kind of and amount of love should change us to our core. God is my hero and I want to be more like Him, which means I want to love like Him. What a great way to live.

What does it mean to be alive? A heart beat? Brain activity? Joy? Pain? Peace? Physical life is what is most focused on, but what about eternal life? When I read through the Bible, I see the recurring theme that life is to be with God and death is to be without God. Our spirit will live forever, either with God or without God. The choice is ours. Jesus said that he came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. I pray that you are experiencing life abundantly. Jesus also said that he is the way the truth and the life. All I know is the closer I get to Jesus, the more alive I feel. I rejoice in God and celebrate the life that he has given me. But, I I weep for those who don’t know him yet. I pray that the sermon may open their eyes to Jesus Christ.
