As i drove through this winding mountain road i saw the light glistening through the forest and it took my breath away , this site was several hundred yards off the beaten path and i happened to be ill equiped for waist high snow , but never one to shirk a challenge or miss a great image i dove in (almost literally) in just jeans and tenni shoes i walked what felt like forever to this incredible site ignoring any discomfort easier and easier as i got closer , the wind blew hard brushing the top layer of loose snow toward me like a brush strokes on a canvas , i dragged my shutter to capture this smokey affect through the trees , as i returned to my car, cold, wet .......a sence of peace and satisfaction, and gratitude , coursed through my body at the beauty i had just witnessed. So here it is for your enjoyment . One of my proudest images to date "Winter Glow"
