We’ve got another great line-up of speakers. Our keynote speaker is John Hart Asher from the PBS television program, Central Texas Gardener. He’ll discuss his experience with ecological restoration and pocket prairies in his speech, “Be the Bison!”

Our featured speakers include Anna Kurtin - Coexisting with Charismatic Minifauna; Gil Eckrich - Do Less—For More Birds! (And Butterfiles, too); and Roy Johnson - “Climate Resilience Around Trees & Gardening.

GWMNs in action! Thank you to the four who joined me at Berry Springs to clean up some pollinator gardens. (fortunately it was gloomy and the bees didn't come out to express their disapproval of our efforts). Some before and after pictures!

GWMN volunteers are THE best! Thank you to everyone who helped out at the Georgetown Red Poppy Festival this weekend. We had a great time helping folks decide "What Kind of Naturalist" they identified with. We gave away lots of poppy stickers and Zines to the kids. ♥️
