Please read this important update.
First off, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for your business and support. We also can't thank you enough for your patience over the past 5 months. We want to share a quick update with you. Some of you may already be aware that on 12/4/25 Jeff suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. Thankfully, when his heart stopped, he was with our friend who was a trained first responder and she immediately started CPR while her husband called 911. She continued CPR until help arrived to revive him. They literally saved his life! Despite the very slim odds, he survived and made a miraculous physical and mental recovery and then in true "Jeff fashion" (against recommendations) returned to work with plans of "taking it slow". It has become clear to him that he came back a bit too soon and still tried to do too much too fast. He is currently dealing with some less significant medical hiccups, serious emotional issues and understandably plenty of memory-related challenges. These issues are to be expected but are also impacting the level of service he has always worked hard to provide and in turn affecting him personally. As a result of this, Jeff now knows that he needs to regroup and take a step back from some of his responsibilities. Most of his daily duties will be transitioning to our capable and trusted technicians Cody and Leonard. Jeff will still be in the office regularly and will do his best to help where needed while focusing on lighter work and assisting Cody and Leonard with his client's needs.
How does this all affect you?
For the foreseeable future, the point of contact for our customers will be changing. If you have Jeff's personal cell number saved ( a 586 # ) please change the main tech support contact number to our office at 717-334-0181. Also please update our email address to [email protected] - this will be a shared folder which all 4 of us will work together at monitoring. We will continue working hard to provide affordable service to our neighbors. It is important to us to maintain the relationships and commitment that a local small business should have. We look forward to continuing those relationships but if there are any questions or concerns, please reach out. We thank you for your past and hopefully continued support and prayers as we continue to naivigate life's ongoing changes.
Sincerely,
Stephanie and Jeffrey Baum

Hello to all -
As many of you know already I had a medical issue last week.
I wanted to thank everyone for their support.
I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts for me.
I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts for my wife/family.
It looks like I came through relatively unscathed. My memory (especially short term) needs some work.
I will be slowly returning to work in a very limited fashion as I am able.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to give all of you at least the basic timeline so I will minimize the number of times I have to explain it (especially since I have no memory of it and some of the details still need re-explained to me as well).
On Dec 4th I was helping to unload a donation truck for my wife’s rescue.
I went into cardiac arrest and collapsed – there were 3 people with me (2 volunteers and a family friend). CPR was started immediately by them. They saved my life.
911 was called and my wife was called and listened to every word as a police officer arrived and shocked me with the AED unsuccessfully then CPR continued as the ambulance pulled in. I had no pulse and was not breathing. Another AED shock or two and 2 epinephrine shots were administered by the paramedics to get a pulse and I was put on an oxygen bag and taken to Hanover Hospital ER. Due to the unknown damage from the lack of blood/oxygen to my brain I was placed in a medical coma and intubated to await testing as the first 48 hours would be critical.
Medical staff informed my family upon arrival to the hospital that there was a 6% chance I would come home as my previous self (if I came home at all). They were preparing my family for the worst. Of course my wife couldn’t hear that. And just the fact that I had no heart attack, no stroke and no brain bleed and that my heart was beating on its own will this soon was a good sign for her. And she swore I squeezed her hand every time she let go of mine.
On Dec 6th the doctor decided to try waking me up before shipping me off to a larger hospital due to the serious risk of seizures as I woke up. They reduced my meds and to the surprise of everyone (except my wife and son), my eyes opened and soon after I was able to follow basic commands and move my hands and feet – apparently, I was still in there. There were no seizures, but I was still intubated until the following day to make sure my lungs were strong enough to breathe on their own. For the next few days I continued to drastically improve with the amazing care I received, other than needing to have everything explained to me a few times a day as I had no short term memory. I appreciate those that took the time to do that as I am sure I was a pain in the ass. I am still struggling a bit with recent memory and energy, but I am improving daily and am certainly lucky to be here.
Rest is still a work in progress, and I look forward to easing back into my work days as soon as I am able. My family and I appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate my recovery.
Thank you -
Jeff
