Ellie and Butter's owner is facing a devastating and progressive health condition that is forcing the family to find these two a new home.

Ellie and Butter are VERY loved, very healthy, and both are up to date on all medical care, vaccines, deworming, hoof care. Allegheny Equine Associates has been their vet for years.

We are hoping to place them together due to Ellie's age and the fact that they are the very best of friends.

Ellie is an aged (30+) Quarter Horse mare - healthy with no chronic health issues. She is affectionate, has good ground manners, and no stable vices. She loves her pasture time and is easy to work around on the ground. Because of her age, she's looking for a companion home.

Butter is a 13 year old gelded Miniature Horse. He also loves his pasture time and kicking up his heels. His turnout on pasture must be limited with a grazing muzzle due to a history of founder. A new home with a dry lot would be ideal so he could be out more. He is also affectionate and has no stable vices, but would be best with a confident handler so he doesn't attempt to test boundaries! :)
