🖥️ Weekly Tech Tip 🖥️

Why having multiple antivirus programs can actually cause problems
It sounds like a good idea — more protection must be better, right? Unfortunately, computers don’t see it that way 😄
When you have more than one antivirus program, they can argue with each other, slow your computer down, and sometimes even miss real threats.
Think of it like having two security guards fighting each other instead of watching the door.
👉 The best plan is to have just ONE good antivirus program and keep it updated. Windows 11 already includes built-in protection called Windows Security, which works very well for most people.
⭐ Bonus Tip:
If your computer suddenly became slow after installing a new antivirus, that could be the reason.
If you’re not sure what protection you have — or if you have more than one — I’m happy to check it for you.

Windows 11 Tip: Use Search before filing a missing persons report on your files and programs
Ever open your computer and say,
“Where did it go?! I KNOW it was right here!”
Relax… your computer didn’t eat it. Probably 😄
Instead of clicking every button like you’re defusing a bomb, click the magnifying glass on the taskbar and type what you’re looking for — email, photos, documents, word, the name of your file etc.
Windows will find it faster than we can say,
“I didn’t touch anything… and I don’t know how it got there.”
⭐ Bonus Tip:
If something suddenly looks HUGE or tiny on your screen, hold Ctrl and gently roll your mouse wheel.
You probably didn’t break anything — Windows just decided to play zoom games again 😉
If your computer continues its mysterious ways, I provide counseling services for confused humans and stubborn PCs 😉

🖥️ Windows 11 Tip of the Week: Handy Keyboard Shortcuts 👀
👉 What is the Windows (Win) key?
The Windows key is the key on your keyboard with the Windows logo on it (usually near the bottom left, between Ctrl and Alt). You hold this key down while pressing another key to use shortcuts.
Here are some easy and helpful ones to try:
🔹 Win + A – Open Quick Settings (Wi-Fi, volume, Bluetooth)
🔹 Win + V – Open Clipboard History (you may need to turn this on in Settings)
🔹 Win + H – Talk instead of type using voice dictation
🔹 Win + . (period) – Open emojis, GIFs, and symbols 😊
🔹 Win + X – Open the “secret” menu with system tools
🔹 Win + D – Instantly show or hide the desktop
🔹 Win + L – Instantly signout/lock computer
💡 Tip: You don’t need to memorize them all—just try one shortcut this week!
🤦♂️ Dad Joke of the Week:
I tried to tell my computer a joke…
…but it didn’t laugh — it just froze. 🤷♂️
