Be Kinder

My hope for this year is that we can all be kinder. Be kinder to the people who may not look like us. Be kinder when discussing our differences. Be kinder when looking out for each other and not focusing on ourselves. Be kinder to the people that may not believe in the same things we believe in. Be kinder to the people that we have learned are essential in our lives. Be kinder to the families who have lost someone. Be kinder to the people that may be lashing out because we don’t know their stories and personal struggles. Be kinder to those who may not have as much as we have and help them when we can.  Be kinder by wearing a mask and protecting each other and ourselves. Be kinder to our planet. Be kinder to our family and friends. Be kinder to strangers. Be kinder to ourselves. I believe there is nothing in this world that can’t be made better by being kinder. 💙

Sometimes when chaos seems to surround us and every day brings new challenges and unpleasant surprises, all we can do is slow ourselves down and breathe. This too shall pass. Be Kinder. 💙
