When you show up for a meeting are your peers and employees prepared to speak with you? Why or why not?

Do they respect you in a way that has them show up ready for the meeting?

Is it your “fault” or theirs? In other words, can you create an opening in your mind that has you see that who you are being in their lives has a direct impact on how they show up to the meeting and how they show up generally for you?

Can you identify where this is at play in your life?

What is the difference you see in reacting vs. responding to life’s situations and circumstances?

What’s it like for you internally when you react? What does that produce?

What’s it like for you internally when you respond? What does that produce and how is it different?

What’s it like for you when you agree to get something done and you get it done as you say you will, and when you say you will?

Why?

A big part of the nature of our work at Ontocore is to help people learn how to interact with themselves effectively.

It’s rare for a person to think about thinking. They think...they know they’re thinking, but they don’t think about the way they’re thinking. That leaves them really believing what they’re thinking like it’s true like it’s the way that it is. Yet, it’s almost never the way they think it is. When one operates this way, they are moving through their lives behaving consistently with what they believe to be true, but what is actually not accurate.

How is it possible for a person to know they are right, and still not be right? What example can you share?

Disagreeing seems pointless.

Pointing out the flaws would be dangerous.

Heaven forbid if you see things from a different perspective.
Nothing will change their mind on this matter so the only option is to keep quiet and let them tell you why their way is right.

But rest assured, you’re never going to agree with them, because you are right, and you sure aren’t going to do what they want you to do. Sound familiar?
