Thanks to our 2 years of R&D, our 2 new patents & our prototyping with new customers, we are now a FDA registered company for our newest product, VitreOx™ medical. Starting 9/1/15, we will offer a long lasting, bio-compatible, anti-fog VitreOx™ Medical for lenses in otoscopes, laryngoscopes, goggles and loupes, and/or disposable sheaths for all these devices. The minimum duration of our anti-fog effectiveness is 3 hours+ in 50°C steam. Our VitreOx™ performance beats international standard BS EN 166/168-2010, used by US FDA and NIOSH via 42 CFR 94.308, by a factor of more than 1350. BS EN 166/168 standard requires anti-fogs to last 8 seconds. VitreOx™ lasts consistently 3 hours+ in 50°C steam, whether right after application or months & years later, wet or dry. The VitreOx™ fog-free duration of 3 hours+ or 10,800 seconds+ beats our next competitor UVEX HydroShield by a factor 90, as UVEX lasts 2 minutes (120 seconds) with that standard. Most commercial anti-fogs last only 2 seconds under the internationals standards, so we beat most of these by a factor 5000. Most importantly, VitreOx™, made of GRAS materials, is fume-free, non-irritating, non-toxic and benign for eye, skin and inner tissues.
