We get asked a lot if we spray directly around window seals when we’re doing scorpion services. The answer is no, and it usually surprises people because it feels like that would be the most obvious place to treat. In reality, our standard liquid application focuses on a 3 feet up and 3 feet off the ground perimeter, which is where most pests actually travel when they’re trying to enter a structure.

The idea behind that approach is creating a continuous 360 degree barrier around the home. Instead of chasing entry points like individual windows, we focus on the travel zones pests naturally use as they move from soil, walls, and vegetation toward the structure. Scorpions and other pests don’t target windows directly, they follow edges and surfaces, which is why that full perimeter coverage ends up being more effective.

Once that treatment is in place, anything trying to get into the home has to cross that treated zone anyway. That’s where they pick up the product during normal movement, which is what actually breaks the cycle. It’s less about spot treating every possible entry point and more about building a consistent barrier that doesn’t leave gaps.
