🌊 ROWW is actively monitoring the Pedernales River flooding disaster of Hill Country Texas. The waters rose overnight at an unforeseen rate. The water reached its highest level since 1979, after torrential rain from a single storm cell.
By 9 a.m. Thursday morning gauges showed the Pedernales River at 32 feet with a flow rate of 63,000 cubic feet per second, yielding a 20 feet increase overnight. Waters crested at more than 36 feet! Emergency evacuations and water rescues continued throughout today.
Many have lost every thing they own.

Earthquake in Nepal 🌍

In 2015 Reach Out WorldWide deployed a team consisting of a doctor, paramedics, EMTs and Search and rescue specialists to respond to the devastating earthquake that shook that left thousands homeless and short of medical supplies, food and clean water. ⛑️

After 24 hours of nonstop travel for our team of nine, Team ROWW arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal. We immediately took stock of our 34 bags of gear and traveled to our base camp near Bhaktapur Dunbar Square.
Over the course of the next four days, we traveled further and further out to rural villages in Nepal, many that had not yet received any outside assistance.
We traveled to Dalhalgoan, Kattike Bhanjyang, Dunbar, and Dhande Sindapalchok. Dhande was the furthest of our reach, with a six hour travel time on the most dangerous road in Nepal. The people of Dhande had been completely cut off from supplies for ten days and Team ROWW was the first response team on site. 🧑🏻‍⚕️💊

⛑️🇻🇪 Rescue efforts continue for what many fear may be the last day for hopes of finding any survivors.

An aftershock over night ceased efforts of recovery for fear of entrapment of the rescuers within the rumble surrounding the victims they attempt to save.

Service heart individuals from all over the world are struggling to render aid in this historical disaster with minimal assistance from the countries’s government to the desperate need of basic tools to do the job necessary.
