A little while ago, we shared the story of a sugar glider who came to us with severely damaged toes that required surgery.

The biggest question afterward wasn’t about the procedure itself, it was what recovery would look like for such a tiny patient.

So, how is this little one doing now? We’re happy to finally share the update!

She went to bed like any other night. By morning, she had a broken wing.

In this case, I examine a female cockatiel that suffered a radius fracture after experiencing a night fright—a sudden panic episode that can cause birds to crash into the sides of their cage or perches with tremendous force.
