TWENTY FIVE!?!?!?! For real. This year I’ll have 25 different colors of large and small leather feather earrings!! My show is in just under 5 days.... are you excited!?!?!

i've been MIA for months because I've been enjoying time with my family, including one of the cutest 7-month old boys ever! i haven't been creating much, but i WILL be a vendor at a local (Tempe, AZ) boutique on Saturday, November 4 from 4-7pm. I'll have a smaller presence that in previous years, but I will try to have a few new things in stock.... I just spent a week making about 50 pairs of leather feather earrings (including some new colors!)... so mark your calendars!

While I'm still on an extended maternity leave with my not-so-little 4 (almost 5!) month old, I did work on a custom project for a friend this week...

i haven't posted here in awhile. i've been taking it easy, trying to grow this baby.... earlier this week, i pulled out my scary, new toy.... a reciprocating saw (aka: a sawzall). i've been putting off using it for almost a month. i was highly afraid i'd cut off some appendage. a finger. a toe. a hand. an arm. you get the idea. i'm quite klutzy. BUT FRIENDS, this new toy was AMAZING. i ripped through a pallet in about 10 minutes. My old method of pulling apart a pallet involved a crowbar, a hammer, pliers and LOTS of me-power. Instead, this new toy ripped through those big old nails like they were nothing. I had a pile of boards in front of me within minutes. i'm hoping to work on the projects intended from those boards next week. my mornings have all been pretty crazy lately and that's when i do my best "wood prep work" - the mornings!
