Today we celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who help make Wyoming feel like home.

The ones who show up with steady hearts.
The ones who teach by example.
The ones who work hard, love deeply, and remind us that family and community are built one day at a time.

To every father figure helping raise strong kids, support good families, and strengthen our towns, thank you.

Introducing Wyoming Echoes

Outlaw Echo is starting a new storytelling project, and we need your help.

It is called Wyoming Echoes, and its purpose is simple:

To preserve the real stories of how Wyoming families came to call this place home.

Some families have been here for generations. Some came recently. Some arrived for ranching, coal, oil, gas, railroad work, teaching, nursing, military service, small business, family, love, opportunity, or a second chance.

Some people were born here and stayed.
Some left and came back.
Some planned to stay for a year and somehow built an entire life here.

All of those stories matter.

Wyoming Echoes is a posterity project. We want to collect and share the stories that do not always make it into textbooks, museums, or official histories. The kitchen-table stories. The family stories. The funny ones. The hard ones. The stories about work, grit, loss, land, weather, community, survival, and belonging.

We are looking for people willing to volunteer their stories.

You do not have to be a writer. You do not have to have a perfectly polished family history. You just need a story.

We would love to hear:

How did you or your family land in Wyoming?
Where did you come from?
Why did you stay?
What work, people, places, or moments shaped your Wyoming story?
What do you hope future generations remember?

New Wyoming families are welcome. Generational Wyoming families are welcome. Every road that led here is part of the story.
