Weekday prep. Advantage Tire Wash for the win!

Well, the ZRC race crew finished up the Lone Star Dirt Oval series last weekend. Andrew Alverson, Andy Waddell and I had a great season long battle in Mudboss class. So close, Andrew and I were tied in points going into the final race with Andy not far behind. I was able to finish 2nd with Andrew in 3rd and Andy 6th in the A-main. Overall, I took 1st, Andrew 2nd and Andy 4th in the series. I was also able to secure a 2nd place finish in Traxxas Modified class in A-main and 2nd in series.

Anthony Plunkett had a great night in MidWest Modified and Open Latemodel classes. He was flying (literally), finished 2nd in both.

Our rookie, Braden Carrington, showed vast improvement over the series and despite not getting to run all the races, still got a podium for the series.

Congratulations to all the ZRC guys for a great season! Looking forward to some winter racing!!!

ZRC racers Andy Waddell, Andrew Alverson , Anthony Plunkett and Mark Massingill had a great night of racing at Piney Woods Raceway in Quitman. Anthony swept all three classes he ran (Late Model, Sprint and RWYB), Andy won Bandit Sprint and placed 2nd in Mudboss. Andrew placed 3rd in Mudboss and Mark was able to TQ and win Mudboss.

Our ZRC race team traveled to N-Control Raceway in Dale, Tx this weekend. Lots of great people there. We had a great time. I managed to podium in Mudboss and Anthony Plunkett set the record for the most bump-ups in a day! lol. Looking forward to Lone Star Series Round 3 race in Abilene.

Hey guys. Just letting you know that Shaka Hobbies are racing mini-b and mini-t as well as tt02 touring cars now. They also have rcp track so mini-z racing be a possibility. They currently alternate onroad and carpet off-road on Sundays but I think they are changing to Saturdays soon. Josh is also thinking of racing Thursday nights as well. I went there yesterday and had a good time. Go check them out and support your local hobby shops!

This Saturday is Mini-Z Race Day! Track opens at 10, race starts at 1pm (new time).

Alrighty, we are racing tonight! We'll more than likely be there by 5pm. And racing will start by about 630pm. So come on out and get some laps tonight.
