Community Advisory Committee for LAUSD The CAC advises the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education on the Los Angeles Special Education Local Plan.

Los Angeles unified schools have agreed to 100% of my personal appeal for appropriate exceptions for the phone ban. My letter to the board president Scott Schmerelson and the superintendent and my personal meeting with Scott prior to the implementation was well received.

This is what parent leadership looks like and this is the parent engagement that families require and deserve.
