I thought May 1st was Beltane, however, a reputable Astrologer mentioned that this year, today May 5th, is the official Beltane, which is the cross quarter turn in the Celtic tradition between spring equinox and summer solstice. The portal of energy around transformation is powerful today. It is a time to let go of something, that we may evolve out of the chrysalis of change. Happy Beltane!
