Tree of the Week: Jabuticaba (Plinia cauliflora)
The Jabuticaba, or Brazilian Grape Tree, is grown for its purplish-black, white-pulped fruits; they can be eaten raw or be used to make jellies and drinks (plain juice or wine). Its flowers are white and grow directly from its trunk. Not only do the flowers grow directly on the trunk, but the fruit does too!

Happy Memorial Day everyone. Here is Andrew M. Ciocco Sr. in Paris directly after WW2 was over. Remember those that gave their service to this country. Some gave all and never returned. Both Lauren's and my grand pops served in WW2
