New Mission Starting Now
"OPERATION UNDERWEAR"
Last week I had breakfast with one of our supporters (Reid Evenson). Reid suggested I should connect with his friend Tom McKenna who serves our beloved veterans in the city. The next day I drove out to meet Tom and we did connect. I asked him how Verus Community could support his mission and what the greatest need is currently. He very simply stated that "We need underwear." I was not expecting that response. I asked him, "any kind of underwear?" He told me "No Tighty Whities. Boxer Briefs in new condition only."After some brief fellowship and a tour of the site I thanked him for his time and said I would see him again. Verus Community loves our veterans and many of us ourselves are veterans. So we have officially begun "Operation Underwear" please help us in this endeavor to bless Tom and our fellow veterans in our community.
