Second year climbing The Incline for sunrise to welcome spring, my birthday month, and a new chapter.

I love how a yearly ritual marks time—it reminds you where you were, shows you how far you’ve come, and invites you into what’s next.

And getting to share these moments with chosen family makes it even more special.

We climbed.
We laughed.
We drank tea.
We pulled cards.
We greeted the morning light.

We began again.

I once heard say there is no path in life you can follow where you won’t get your heart broken, so choose to get your heart broken over something you care about.

It feels strangely good and peaceful to be open to getting my heart broken again.

To choose to experience the fullness of life.
