Felt like y’all could use some lodge vibes in your life. 🤗 This Airbnb I completed a couple years back in Mohican State Park is still a goodie. The goal was a no-reno demo, leaning into the bones of the space and enhancing what already existed rather than adding in all things new. This way, the house could enter the Airbnb market quicker and without so much overhead.
THE STARTING POINT: rustic, lots of wood, dark tones overall, outdated finishes, SO. MUCH. ORANGE. 🙃
THE RESULTS? Leaning into the rustic vibes and enhancing their coziness level with a curated collection of vintage & eclectic vibes, lots of color, a space that feels bright and welcoming without gutting everything that was there.

→ started with the client’s before photo (they loved the rug + curtains, just wanted a functional refresh)
→ stripped it down to an empty room
→ sketched out the vision with callouts
