Gooding Dog Pound
The Goings on at the Gooding City Dog Pound

Adopted 6/10
Hey there… I’m Sid.
I didn’t get the best start on my journey. You see, I was on my own for a bit, but some kind-hearted folks made sure I made it to safety. I’ve been neutered, vaccinated, and I’m officially ready to find my own person.
I’m pretty playful once I warm up, I like to have fun but know how to settle as well. I am about 20 inches at the shoulders and under 30 pounds. I’ve been told I’m a pretty handsome fella. I tend to agree… I just haven’t found the right human to appreciate it yet.
I can be a little unsure when I first meet new people, but once I know I’m safe, I warm up and really enjoy being around my person. I’ve been doing great here at the pound and settling in well.
I’ve got a medium to high energy level, so I’d do best with someone who can keep me active and give me a little structure. I do best with slow introductions when it comes to other dogs, but once things are done right, I get along just fine. I’m also good with respectful kids.
I already know sit and lay down, and my recall is coming along nicely. I’m still polishing up my leash manners I might pull a bit, but I’m trying and getting better every day.
I’m really just looking for someone who will give me a fair shot and a little patience while I figure things out. I’ve got a lot of love to give… I just need my person to finally find me.

Remember the little adventure pup we picked up wandering around town?
Well, nobody ever came looking for her, and now she's officially ready to find a family of her own.
This little girl has been an absolute sweetheart since coming into my care. She's friendly, loves attention, and would much rather be hanging out with people than spending time by herself. She's especially fond of kids and is always excited when she gets visitors.
She's still working on her potty training, but she's actually been doing pretty well for me here at the pound. Like any young dog, she'll need a little patience and consistency as she settles into a new home, but she's eager to learn and wants to be a good girl.
What she really wants is a couch to nap on, people to love, and a family that won't let her go on any more solo road trips.
If you're looking for a small dog with a big personality and a lot of love to give, come meet her.
