Great Falls Construction

Great Falls had some special guests from this week at some of our jobsites! They were able to tour our Gorham High School Addition project, the USM Art Department Building project and our own shop facility that supports Great Falls' daily operation. Thank you to Associated General Contractors of Maine for championing this program to promote the trades as a career path!

Great Falls Construction will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day and will re-open for regular business Monday, July 6th.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, we're grateful for the freedoms and opportunities that have allowed us to build and serve our communities for the past 38 years.

We cut the ribbon last week in Auburn, Maine at our JCS Property Management development project, Fallview on Main, located at 186 Main Street. We were joined by City officials, the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, design team partners Sebago Technics & CWS ARCHITECTS, tenants, and community members to celebrate the official ribbon cutting.

While the rain moved us inside the riverfront commercial space, we still enjoyed a wonderful event with remarks highlighting the project's role in bringing new housing opportunities and investment to downtown Auburn. Fallview on Main is a nearly 30,000sf mixed-use development featuring 18 residential apartments, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, along with two commercial spaces. One of the commercial suites is now home to Treworgy & Baldacci, a real estate closings and title search agency, while the approximately 5,000sf riverfront commercial space remains available for lease and tenant fit-up opportunities.

Looking ahead, plans are underway for a new outdoor patio to further celebrate and activate the riverfront while we seek the right tenant for the remaining commercial space.
