Alaskan mentality! Alaskan Lodge owner Jerry Pippen was never happy when the ice became unsafe on Lake Iliamna in April and he could not get to his favored Brown Bear hunting spots across the lake...so, he found a solution. He used this magnificent airboat to skim across the ice & if he broke thru...no problem!!! You can see he parked it on boards so that the hull did not freeze to the ice. This thing had a 500 cid V8 with glass packs that would wake the dead. Don't ever try to tell an Alaskan, "you can't do that."

When in doubt, "rub it out." Check out what was under the velvet on this guy's antlers! There have been some serious mesquite trees getting torn up lately in this deers neighborhood.
