Collaborating with stellar partners magnifies the fun - and what great fun it was! On Saturday, Chatty Learners' Ms. Heather and Sons of Norway Grand Forks ND Gyda Varden Lodge hosted a fifth successful storytime for our youngest neighbors with UND Connect faculty Drs. Emily Midkiff and Melissa Gjellstad. Children read, played, and explored themes of friendship in Norwegian and English. Join us in June for the last of the series! French Club President Scott Edmunds won a student org raffle this spring, and club officers used the prize to coordinate an olive oil tasting event at local, family-owned small business - The Olive Barrel 🫒 Students sampled fine olive oils and learned about the industry during their delightful visit this week.
