✨ Senior Spotlight: Giselle Emerson ✨

1. How long have you been cheering?
“I have been cheering 3 years football and 2 years basketball both starting as a sophomore.”

2. What is your favorite sport to cheer for?
“My favorite sport to cheer for is football, because of the enthusiasm from our student section, and celebrating after each game.”

3. What is your favorite thing about cheer?
“I like bonding with teammates/friends on game days, having team builders, and showing skills we leaned from practice at games.”

4. What are your postgraduate plans?
“I plan to attend either UND or U of Mary, and major in either psychology or pre-occupational therapy.”

5. What is your favorite cheer memory?
“My favorite memories are winning Cushman Classic my junior year, and going to State football in 2024. (I know we didn’t win, but it was still fun to experience!)”

6. What advice can you give to your fellow cheerleaders?
“My advice is to not be too hesitant to join as a freshman like I was. You only get 4 years, and will regret not doing it sooner. Enjoy every moment, because it goes by so fast!”

As always, our final game was as bittersweet as ever. This year’s 2025 football cheer crew was truly something special, and we couldn’t be prouder. We can’t wait to see what next year brings — and to cheer on our amazing seniors as they head off to their next adventures! 🥹🥰
