To raise the awareness of the community concerning the reality of hunger on a local level, outside of our immediate area, and in the world.

Project Hunger is proud to be a 2026 recipient of a Rural Impact Grant from the Heartland United Way. This grant will help support our milk and egg voucher program in Cairo and Centura Public Schools. These vouchers help ensure that families have access to these essential food items. We are grateful for this partnership and the positive impact it makes in our schools and community!
