A great opportunity to develop our community from within. Well done to both the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation & Chamber of Commerce and Wayne State for showing students career paths that can keep them right here in Nebraska.

Scammers have been checking our agenda again. They are sending emails to applicants asking them to wire money for review fees. No one from Community Development (Planning, CDBG, CRA or Building Inspection) will ever send an email asking you to wire funds to the city. If you have questions send an email to [email protected] or call (308) 385-5240. Do not reply to the email address that made the request. The last one was from (planningdept.grand-island.usa.com) close but all of ours end with -island.com
‼️SCAM ALERT‼️
There is a recent e-mail scam circulating where the sender is impersonating the Hall County Regional Planning Commission and Director Chad Nabity. The e-mail is asking for businesses to wire transfer them money, which is something we will never do. Please be mindful!
