Tuff Automation

Our welders have been working through a set of a dozen pneumatic lifts we are building to replace some existing lifts at our client partner.

These ultra highcycle Lifts are designed for automotive applications. These will be used in over/under seat build lines to help reduce downtime due to maintenance of the existing electric lifts.

A few weeks ago, we shipped out two new in partnership with Savant Automation. Tuff has delivered more than 10 of these systems (enough that one of the engineers has lost count), and in exchange, we got one of the early units back for a little .

These units were designed to carry Combines ( ) through the full production process while allowing operators to get up close with the units for assembly. The systems have a lift to keep the unit close to the ground for operators during assembly, then to lift to operating height for final wheel assembly before lowering to let the drive off as a finished unit.

Our team is putting the finishing touches on a system for plastic automotive totes for one of our partners. The Tuff electrical team did a great job with the controls package to make the system ready to with the client's existing system.
