Immediate opening for Mechanic working on Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Fleet Diesel Trucks and Trailers

Description:
Medium-Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanics are needed in Grand Rapids, MI immediately. Mechanics with 2+ years of experience working on Diesel Engines (Cummins, or Detroit) will be preferred, but not necessary. More specifically, we are looking for mechanics with experience repairing and maintaining Freightliner and International trucks.

Mechanics will be expected to do the following:

• Repair trucks and trailers
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and/or repair engines
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.

Must have your own tools and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required, ASE certified a plus).

Compensation:
Hourly. Starting wage will depend on previous experience. There is room for growth. Benefits start after 60 days (depending on start date).
Shifts: Monday - Friday: 1:30-10:00pm
