Care Cuts DFW

Happy 4th of July from the Care Cuts team! I hope all of my families have a wonderful day, and I’ll be praying for all of the kiddos who love and don’t love fireworks tonight.

Fridays are better with fun and fabulous hair styles!!

Our Strategic Initiatives team had a chance to visit with grantee Care Cuts while in TX for APSE.

Care Cuts DFW is doing fantastic work, providing hair care to autistic individuals. Their clubhouse is designed to provide an inclusive experience for their "Friends" (clients). The team also travels to medical clinics, schools, and homes for those who may find a visit to the clubhouse too overwhelming. Their work gives dignity and care to their Friends, and provides so much more than a haircut.

Missi Kennedy, founder and parent of an autistic son, and her family have a passion for helping others and are so grateful to NEXT for believing in them and helping to expand their impact. NEXT for AUTISM is proud to be a founding funder of Care Cuts.
