🎓🏈 A Bittersweet Graduation! 🏈🎓

This week, we celebrated an incredible milestone as one of our amazing kids graduated from our ABA program and is prepared to begin an exciting new chapter. While we are always thrilled to see our kids reach their goals and gain the skills needed to move forward, saying goodbye is never easy.

Over time, he has touched the hearts of our entire team. Through hard work, perseverance, laughter, and countless memories, he has become an important part of our UP family.

Anyone who knows him knows he is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. His love for the Chiefs has brought countless conversations, smiles, and excitement throughout his time with us, so when it came time to choose a graduation gift, there was no question what it should be.

As a token of how much he means to us, our team signed a Chiefs helmet for him to take home—a keepsake filled with encouragement, pride, and the signatures of the people who have cheered him on every step of the way. ❤️💛

Watching our clients grow, achieve their goals, and spread their wings is why we do what we do. We couldn't be prouder of all that he has accomplished and all that lies ahead.

We had a great time connecting with Callie Co. Counseling today and learning more about their heart for serving individuals, couples, and families through faith-based counseling and advocacy.

Fact: ABA is about helping individuals build meaningful life skills that support independence, communication, confidence, and quality of life. A good ABA program is personalized to each person’s needs, strengths, and goals, whether that’s learning to communicate wants and needs, developing social skills, improving daily routines, or reducing behaviors that may interfere with safety and learning.

Every individual is different, and ABA should always focus on respect, dignity, and celebrating progress in a way that matters to them.
