19 years ago in early July 2006, I had lost all my belongings to a house fire. This was 1 strong right after Vaughn and Rubal had come through and we recorded 6 tracks (4 for ‘Bless Go Roun’, and 2 for Jah Rubal which came out on ‘New Name’). The fire destroyed all my studio equipment and instruments, clothes gone, everything gone.. All my books gone!! (except for 2…)!! Vaughn’s book ‘Koll Pekude’ and the Book of Enoch...! You can draw your own significance from this.. All praise to Jah!! Other than those books, there were a few other significant items that made it out too while picking through the rubble..! As for the songs we recorded, the only way those songs survived and were saved was because I had copy of a rough mix in my truck. Thank Jah again…!! A couple weeks later I flew out to St Croix and stayed with Vaughn to finish recording the album… Jah is Great..!!!
