Please be aware of scammers! As a vendor/seller for many years, both online and offline, I have noticed a growing number of scams, especially those targeting several local (Kentucky) events posted on Facebook.

Always be certain you are communicating with legitimate event coordinators before providing payment or other sensitive information. Please report any suspicious activity to the legitimate organizers and to Meta (Facebook).

Two of the main ways I've seen scammers infiltrate events are by posting phishing comments in the event's discussion area, pretending to be coordinators, or by messaging potential vendors directly.
