God will take you where you never intended to go in order to produce in you what you could never produce on your own....FAITH. Faith is not intuitive so God is crafting in me faith. A lot of times we are asking for grace of
relief or grace for release but God is giving us grace of refinement. We must learn to comfort one another with the theology of uncomfortable grace. The grace of God comes to us in uncomfortable grace. God wants us to esteem redemption more than our comfort and pleasures so He has put us in this broken world where we are all touched by suffering. We are not yet a people of faith. God employs the difficulties of life in order that He can continue and complete his work of grace in you. You cannot have a biblical view of suffering and conclude that suffering is a mass interruption of Gods plan. Suffering is an expression of Gods plan in ways that are not intuitive to us. (See Rom. 8:18-25)

We have Hope because Jesus was willing. One of the marked characteristics of sin is unwillingness. Unwilling to forgive, unwilling to obey, unwilling to serve, to sacrifice,to surrender, to trust, etc. "Not my will, but yours, be done. " That final sentence of Jesus's prayer in the garden gives every sinner who ever lived hope. This moment of willingness is a moment of hope for all of us, who in our sin, have lives that are marked by unwillingness. Our hope in this life and the one to come is never to be found in our willingness to believe in and follow him, but in his willingness to endure suffering and death for us. His willingness unleashes the grace we need to be forgiven and to become more and more willing to lay down our lives for his kingdom and his glory.
