It's rodeo day in Grayson and tonight's going to get Western in Eastern Kentucky! Cowboys and cowgirls from across the US will be bringing you edge of your seat excitement as they go head to head in their race to win nearly $4,000 in prize money and the chance to be named the 2025 Lucky Buck$ Champion Bull Rider and Barrel Racer. Come on out to the Carter County Fair for a fun night of family friendly entertainment! Get here early for the James Family Outfitters Best Dressed Cowboy & Cowgirl Contest at 7:00.

Artists Haley Bays and Chris Casteel were live-painting up a storm at the fair last night! Their painting of the state bird with wings outstretched embracing the spirit of community and celebration over the fair is amazing! The painting will be up for auction during Rodeo on Saturday night. Thank you Haley and Chris for sharing your talents with our community! (photo is of the work in progress! 😍)

The Carter County Fair Board rocked out their "TEAM DAVEY" shirts today in honor and support of our favorite "Zebra." All-around good guy, Umpire, Referee, Banker, Fair Board Member and Friend, Davey Anderson.
