Batavia Downs Scratch Doubles

Hey everyone, wanted to give a quick update. The league will be expanding this year. We can go up to 28 teams adding an additional 10 from last year. If you have have bowlers that want to join have them get their $50 deposits in as soon as possible. This league will fill up! More teams equals more side action and better payouts. Let's make this better than last year.

I will be running an eliminator with a little twist

$10 entry each week

Since it’s 4 games I will do a buy back in after the first game only if you don’t make the first cut ($10 to buy back in)

10% of the money collected each week from first entries and buy backs will
be taken out and set aside for the final week

The final week of the league the eliminator will be $10 that night as well as all the money collected/saved through out the season, I’m guess we should be able to put at least $20 a side a week which will put over $600 extra into the final week

In order to be eligible for the eliminator the final week you MUST get into the eliminator at least 10 times during the season to qualify which I will be keeping track of all season long

We are now full at 18 teams. Look forward to seeing everyone!

League Meeting next Thursday 09/01 @7:30p.m. in the banquet room. We're at 17 out of 18 teams. Should be pretty short, just a few things to discuss.
