This vote was with careful consideration of people in my district who understand this issue all too well. There’s some who are using this vote as political leverage, and let’s be clear: workers, like farmers and ranchers and the agricultural sector are not to be used for others’ advantage. They are essential, they matter, and they are important. If you disagree I ask that you please talk to the farmers and ranchers about this.
