Wearing purple means…
"I wear purple to demonstrate how essential it is to recognize and remember those who lost their lives at the hands of an intimate partner. I believe in showing support and strength as a leader and a community response team member in the details of my life. Wearing purple is one simple and dynamic way I can give my nonverbal support to all those affected by domestic violence: men, women, and children. Each one, each one." - Pam Nikodem
