Two Hands Restoration

I noticed the spliced casings where a window sill had been. I told the new owner that this was once a window to a porch. In the 1920's this became a door to a modern bathroom addition. It was surprising that when the door was installed they put in a flat painted panel (?) Looking at the bath side it made sense as the ceiling is lower & curved into the wall. A asked if I might run some testing pilot holes & see if I couldn't make this a transom. Next I made a segmental arched sash & drew a design taking elements from the 1920's casements. I knew just who could find the proper antique glass & build the 180+ pieces . Not Original but highly rewarding.
