Smith Projects’ asphalt paving crew began working on the the new track at Greenfield Central Schools this week. We scraped and milled off existing asphalt to achieve a new final track grade. Today’s new asphalt layer is the base course prior to Mondays additional (1.5”) of new virgin asphalt surface mix. Once completed, the general contractor Beynon Sports will install a nice new rubber ‘track-surface’ that will improve every students (100 yard dash) by 5-10 seconds....... possibly! 💨🏃‍♀️🏃🏃🏾🏃🏽‍♀️🏆🎖🥇🏅🚀🎽🔥🆙
