While collaborating with USC Upstate on the new spirit mark, one of our goals was to design the spartan in a way that was unique and ownable to the university as well as the state of South Carolina.

We did this by injecting state elements and existing visual language in to the DNA, resulting in a handful of meaningful ties to the location within the logo.

With week 8 in the books, we’re officially halfway through the Inaugural YOUFL season. It’s been a ton of fun building the social identity to help reinforce this virtual world of simulation football.
