From his beginnings here in Greenville to becoming the voice behind some of the most iconic songs in music history, Peabo’s impact reached far beyond our city while always remaining connected to it. His mural near The Commons and Unity Park stands as a reminder of the incredible talent, legacy, and inspiration that started right here in the Southernside community.

We’re also grateful to the artists behind this beautiful tribute — RaAmen Stallings, Orlando Corona, and Faith Hudgens — for creating a piece that will continue honoring Peabo’s legacy for years to come.
