A patient who suffered a traumatic brain injury underwent a successful 3D-printed skull reconstruction at The Medical City, tailored specifically for him.

Using advanced imaging and a biocompatible material called PEEK, our team custom-built an implant that matched the exact shape of the missing part of his skull. This personalized approach led to a smoother surgery, faster recovery, and better outcomes.

The procedure was made possible through the collaboration of TMC’s medical experts, ProtoMed Singapore, and our Clinical and Translational Research Institute.
