As a 29 year Army Veteran, I want to wish the Veterans and Military Families a very happy and peaceful Veterans Day. In 1918 on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we saw peace. It was first celebrated as Armistice Day in 1919 but renamed in 1954 replacing Armistice with Veterans. It became a day to honor American Veterans of all wars. Thank you to those that served, those that are currently serving and the ones we didn't bring home! God Bless America!
