Finishing up this artificial turf install. Turned out great!

Having known and lost classmates from VMI, this day is particularly tough. None of our lost soldiers ever wanted or needed our thanks, though they will always deserve it. They just did what they did for no other reason than because.

I'm almost certain they didn't want to die, but with great commitment, comes that reality. My prayer is that this country never loses sight of the fact that freedom isn't free, and very few pay the ultimate cost for so many. It is true when said, "real heroes don't wear capes."

Pavers are finished and driveway ready for asphalt!
