Thank you to everyone who attended our monthly Final Friday event this morning. It we great to see the crowd, especially with the rain. It was great to hear from Alison Rauch with Greer CPW with some important information on how to maintain a consistent image on social media. Alison does a fantastic job with her communication and social media roles and we know everyone was excited to learn from her. We drove to Charlotte yesterday for the annual awards and recognition lunch of our parent firm, Consolidated Planning, Inc.

Being in a satellite location like we are in the City of Greer, SC, it's always energizing to find opportunities to be with colleagues/friends that we don't get to see in person on a regular basis. It was more than worth the drive to celebrate 2025 and be reminded of the literally thousands of families and businesses scattered from Virginia, down to Georgia, and across the country that are served well by our unique approach to financial planning.

You may remember in 2025 Hopper Financial celebrated 10 years of serving our clients and the greater Greer community. Our founding coincided with our affiliation and partnership with Consolidated Planning. We're grateful for the firm's recognition yesterday of Mark's 10 year anniversary.

Looking back on what is now almost 11 years, we're so grateful to have found a firm that aligns with our values, supports our vision to serve our community, provides resources that are second to none, and is built on a planning philosophy to allows us to provide financial balance, clarity, and confidence to our clients that they find nowhere else. Here's to the next 10 years and well beyond with our "CP" family!

It was wonderful to hear from Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis today for our first Faith at Work of 2026. He had us laughing and tearing up as he shared with us his journey to winning election as Greenville County Sheriff in 2020. We appreciate Sheriff Lewis’ leadership and have enjoyed getting to know him a little over the past few years. It’s easy to tell that he’s a genuine man who leads with a Christ-centered focus. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us. Our next event of this series will be Thursday, May 21 so go ahead and mark your calendars!

The Hopper Financial office will be closed tomorrow, but we will be working from home as long as we have power and Internet. We will be back to regular operations on Tuesday, assuming it is safe to do so.
