Happy thimbleberry season everyone!! ✨

🍉 Did you know we added a whole new field to our row crop area this year? We’re growing pumpkins and melons! We’re excited to be able to bring more fruit this season to our weekly farm stand at Wallace , and to increase our overall yield. In the past couple of years we’ve increased our total lbs of produce distributed to folks experiencing food insecurity from 10,000 to 12,000 and this year we’re aiming to beat that record! We’re also looking forward to having a proper pumpkin patch for kiddos and their families come fall 🎃

We have heard your feedback and we are taking action! After seeing school buses struggle to find our farm entrance and sometimes get stuck in the mud, we are determined to improve our driveway and parking area. The new driveway will create a safer flow of traffic, and will include a school bus sized parking space, a fire truck turnaround, and a paved ADA accessible parking space. We will also be installing a permanent sign to make it easier to spot the farm from the road.

Join our campaign to make the road to farm education safer for all! The 600+ students who visit our farm each year (and their bus drivers) will appreciate it!
