Middle Way Farm

Just a follow-up to my post yesterday since I wrote a lot of words but still managed to skip over some basic facts :

- I work for Grinnell Farm to Table now, I have been executive director since December and will be continuing to work for that organization for the foreseeable future. My increased workload there is a definite factor in needing to end my farm lease and fully move on but I made that decision willingly.

- I never lived on the farm, I have lived in the same house in Grinnell since 2009 and always commuted to the farm. I have no plans to leave Grinnell. I have now lived here longer than I did in Connecticut, where I grew up till age 18. I'm looking forward to gardening in town this year.

Thanks for all the kind and thoughtful responses. I am not planning on saving much from these accounts when I take them down but I definitely will be saving and cherishing the responses to my sister's death in 2020, ending full time farming in 2023, and the responses I've gotten to this announcement.

I have 50 pounds of split / blemished but very useable Certified Naturally Grown beefsteak tomatoes in need of a home. $1 per pound for all of them. Not interested in selling smaller increments but someone who can take and process all.
